Do you sign a DPA?
Yes. Our Data Processing Agreement covers GDPR, UK GDPR and CCPA, including Standard Contractual Clauses for international transfers.
Will you fill in our security questionnaire?
Yes. We don't hold a SOC 2 or ISO 27001 certification yet, so we answer questionnaires and walk your team through our controls.
Do you train AI models on our data?
No. Requests and responses are never used to train AI models.
Where is our data hosted?
On Amazon Web Services in the United States (us-east-1).
Can we pay annually by invoice?
Yes. Annual billing and invoicing come with the Custom plan, along with volume pricing above 5M requests a month.
What does hosted Desk include?
We run Desk on our address or yours, keep it updated, and run the ModelRiver project behind it with AI credits included. You get one contact for questions and don't need a ModelRiver account.
Can we move off hosted Desk later?
Yes. Desk is open source under the MIT licence and your articles are plain Markdown files, so you can take them and run Desk yourself.
